Freezer-Friendly Winter Meals You’ll Thank Your Previous Self For

My Winter Warmer Recipes of 2025 – All in One Place!

I thought I’d bring all of my favourite winter recipes together in one spot for you to come back to whenever you need a little inspiration.

Winter can feel a bit demotivating (especially for sunny Perth people!), but nothing beats the cold like a warm, home-cooked meal. The best part? All of these recipes are freezer-friendly. Think of your future self—make a big batch for dinner, then save a portion for next week. You don’t have to bulk cook and eat the same thing every day; just pop leftovers into an airtight container, label it, and forget about it until that night when you really don’t feel like cooking. Future-you will be giving past-you a big hug.

These recipes also follow the good old “rule of thumb” I always talk about: each meal should include:

  • A Protein source – at least 20g per serve

  • A Carbohydrate source

  • Colour (fruit and veg) – the more the better!

  • Healthy fats

This is a quick and simple check to make sure your meals are nutritionally balanced and working hard for you. Of course, not every single meal has to be perfectly balanced, but if your goal is to get the most out of your food without overthinking it, this checklist is a great place to start.
